When I first launched The Capable Bride®, the goal was simple: give couples the tools, knowledge, and confidence to plan weddings without overwhelm. Over time, the brand has grown into something bigger — not just a resource for brides, but an umbrella for multiple businesses, ideas, and communities. Today, I’m proud to share the new direction for The Capable Bride® and why our new tagline — “Where Creativity Meets Capability” — perfectly reflects this next chapter.

Why the Shift?

If you’ve followed my journey, you know I run three distinct but deeply connected brands:


  • Wedding M.D.™ — premium multicultural wedding planning.

  • Taste Buds Required™ — elevated Caribbean catering and grazing experiences.

  • The Vendor Lab™ — systems, coaching, and community for wedding pros.


For years, each brand had its own lane, but clients, collaborators, and even fellow business owners started to notice the throughline: precision and creativity working hand in hand. The Capable Bride® was always the foundation — now, it’s stepping fully into its role as the umbrella brand that unites these businesses.


What “Capable” Means Here

Capability is more than just getting things done. It’s about:


  • Systems that support freedom (so couples and vendors can enjoy the journey, not just survive it).

  • Strategy that meets creativity (so ideas aren’t just beautiful, they’re workable).
